Hillsboro Youth Volleyball League |
The Hillsboro Youth Volleyball League (HYV) is a brand new program that provides a recreational volleyball program for girls in grades 4 - 6 who reside in the Hillsboro School District. It is a cooperative effort between Hillsboro School District and Hillsboro Parks and Recreation. Registration for the league begins on February 1st and ends on March 11th. After the deadline, you will be placed on a waiting list and placed on a team if space allows.
The season will begin on April 5 and end on May 19. Games and practices will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays with starting times between 5:30 and 7:00 p.m. at South Meadows Middle School (4690 SE Davis Rd). The fee for the program is $45 per person which includes a t-shirt. All players will be notified by coaches of their first practice on April 5.
Parent coaches are needed to run this program successfully. Let us know at registration if you will coach or assistant coach. Selected coaches will be notified of the coaches meeting and a coaches clinic to be conducted by Hilhi Varsity Volleyball coach Krystol Stemm prior to the start of the season.
