2012 Summer Dates: July 9 - 20
 Hillsboro Arts Summer (HAS) is a performing arts and music day camp for 6th grade through high school students. HAS offers classes in Instrumental music, jazz studies, drama, film/TV production, dance, and guitar. There are also a number of electives to choose from (see below). This is a unique experience for youth to work with professional artists, musicians, and seasoned educators to develop their talents and abilities.

We are continuing to partner with Stages Performing Arts Youth Academy and Element Dance Studio to bring dance and drama to our arts program. HAS is fun, relevant and innovative while accessible to all skill levels. They will learn songs, dance routines, and a theater production in preparation for an end-of-camp live performance for family, friends and the public to be held at Century High School on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 7 pm.
Students sign up for one major and two electives at registration. Students need to bring their own guitar if that is what they play. All course offerings are dependent upon enrollment. Students may register for both School of Rock and Hillsboro Arts Summer camps at a reduced fee. Click here to see a camp video.

Would you consider sponsoring a student, or several students for the Hillsboro Arts Summer camp this summer? It only costs $170 per child for the two-week camp and will make a very positive experience possible for a student that otherwise could not participate!
