Volunteer at the Cultural Arts Center

The Glenn & Viola Walters Cultural Arts Center (CAC) has a variety of volunteer positions available. CAC volunteers are required to complete an application and background check process and then will have an interview with the Volunteer Services Coordinator to discuss interests, placement, and scheduling. In addition to the regular volunteer positions, there is also a need for volunteers to assist with special events throughout the year.

Here is a list of volunteer opportunities:


Usher	Greeting patrons, handing out programs, assisting those with special needs, giving directions, and answering basic questions about the center and event.
Special Events Assistant	Supports center activities by providing a wide range of services such as coordinating and assisting with fund-raisers, VIP services, special event set up, artist load-in and other duties as needed.
Class Assistant	Assisting instructor in the classroom with various arts and craft related activities.
Publicity Services	May include folding handouts and other informational items, stuffing envelopes, distributing information in the community.
Poster Distribution	Hand out and post posters in identified community destinations. Mount posters on windows or information boards with the permission of the management.
