Camp Amp
July 11 - 22, 2016
Camp Amp is a Rock music camp offering majors in guitar, bass, drums, vocals and concert production. This two-week day camp is for youth entering 6th grade through high school and held at Century High School. Students are divided into Rock bands where they learn songs in preparation for an end-of-camp live performance on Friday evening of the second week of camp. Music is fun, relevant and innovative while accessible to all skill levels. All students will rehearse in their bands, learn about song writing, create a band logo, and screen print band logo onto a t-shirt. Camp Amp students must attend both weeks. Registration begins March 3.

Hillsboro Arts Summer

July 11 - 22, 2016
Hillsboro Arts Summer (HAS) is a performing arts and music day camp for youth entering 6th grade through high school held at Century High School. HAS majors include art, dance, musical theater (Mamma Mia!), film/TV production, guitar, instrumental music and Jazz studies. There are also many electives to choose from. Students perform a final end-of-camp theater, dance and musical production and display their artwork created during camp on Thursday evening of the second week of camp. Registration begins March 3.

Jackson Bottom Nature Camp
Discover nature in all its glory at Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve. Kids from age four to 12 learn about critters and their habitats, nature and the wetlands while having a great time. Build forts, paddle a canoe and much more!

Sizzling Summer Day Camp
June 27 - August 12, 2016
Seven weeks full of fun for kids from 1st - 6th grades. Three field trips per week along with days jam-packed with games, sports, and arts and crafts. Explore nature, visit parks, and discover your inner athlete at sites around Hillsboro. Registration begins March 3.

The Outpost
This annual free lunch and activities program at Shute Park and Shadywood Park is wildly popular for those 1-18 years of age. Educational and recreational activities accompany a free lunch provided by the USDA and Hillsboro School District every weekday for nine weeks during summer break.

Walters Creative Arts Camps
Have a creative summer! The Walters Cultural Arts Center in Downtown Hillsboro offers a variety of exciting, hands-on, arts opportunities from day camps to classes led by talented teaching artists. Explore clay, painting, drawing, theatre, animation, music and ore! There is no limit to where kids’ artistic imagination and curiosity will take them.

Zone Adventure Day Camp
June 27 - August 5, 2016

Choose your adventure! Every week brings a new set of adventures for kids from 6th - 9th grades. Campers meet at a designated point to experience a different field trip adventure every day. Adventures include ropes courses, white water rafting, visits to mountains, water parks, beaches and much more. Registration begins March 3.
