Hillsboro Fire Department issues permits to maintain, store, use or handle materials, or to conduct processes which produce conditions hazardous to life or property, or to install equipment used in connection with such activities. Application for such permits shall be made to the Hillsboro Fire Prevention Bureau, located in the Hillsboro Civic Center, 150 E. Main Street, 3rd Floor.
