The Ronler Acres station is located in the center of the high-tech area in northeast Hillsboro. Station 3 houses Engine 3 (E-3), Truck 3 (T-3) and Technical Rescue 3 (TR-3). E-3 and T-3 are each staffed with four personnel.  When a technical rescue incident occurs, firefighters will take TR-3 along with their normal apparatus to provide additional tools, shoring and rescue equipment. 

Hillsboro Fire and Rescue Volunteers currently operate and respond from this station. When called to duty, they staff Engine 104 (E-104) and Water Tender 104 (WT-104).   The volunteers will move to Fire Station #6 on Cherry Lane when it is completed mid-summer 2010.

This station also houses our Emergency Management staff and serves as our Emergency Operations Center.  A training room, sponsored in part by Intel, is located at this facility.  One of Intel's largest manufacturing facilities is located just south of this station.  Hillsboro staff provides Medical Response Team refresher training for local high-tech companies at this site.
