CONSERVATION CALENDAR CONTEST:

The Water Department is pleased to partner with local schools in Hillsboro who are eager to learn about water – and the calendar project is both educational and fun.

Each year a water conservation theme is selected and we encourage students to creatively illustrate this idea.  The fourteen posters that best exemplify this theme are chosen and included in the creation of our annual calendar.  Fifteen Hillsboro elementary schools participated in the 2012 calendar contest. 

The winning drawings are also displayed in the Utility Billing department at the Hillsboro Civic Center.
