Hillsboro 2020 Vision & Action Plan

Two new sustainability strategies and 10 new sustainability actions

In 2008, the City hired its first Sustainability Project Manager to organize efforts internally across the City departments and to facilitate action in the broader community. Building on prior actions, City staff have continued to identify ways to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and move the City organization toward our goals. Going forward, the City plans to facilitate community action to encourage residents and businesses to contribute to the important work of securing a Sustainable Hometown Hillsboro for our future.
