Crime Prevention

"Through partnership with the community..."

This is the most important part of the mission statement of the Hillsboro Police.  Without citizen participation the department cannot effectively serve its citizens.   Crime prevention is a "hands on" process -- whether it be through building relationships with seniors at our annual Valentine's Dance, or through our many outreach functions outlined below. It is all about people -- you and your police department.
