Trail Grooming

Volunteers can help maintain trails by spreading woodchips, removing invasive plants, removing down debris, and picking up litter. There are many trails throughout our parks system. Contact us to learn more on how to help to keep our trails clean!

Landscaping

We are continuously recruiting volunteer groups to assist with various landscape projects in all of our city parks. Each season brings new projects that can include weeding, spreading barkdust/woodchips, pruning, planting flowers/bulbs, and other maintenance related projects.

Habitat Enhancement

Protecting and keeping our natural areas is very important—and you can help! Volunteers can help remove invasive plants, plant native plants, create homes for habitat, pick up litter, and participate in other special habitat enhancement projects as they become available.
