Hillsboro Area Lacrosse Organization (HALO) |
| Hillsboro Area Lacrosse Organization is a new community wide lacrosse league for boys and girls in 3rd - 8th grade. It is a cooperative effort between the Glencoe, Century, Liberty and Hilhi lacrosse clubs and administered by Hillsboro Parks & Recreation. HALO is committed to growing the sport of lacrosse within the Hillsboro area by providing both competitive and recreational experiences for the participants in a safe and supervised environment. HALO teams will be formed for boys and girls in 3rd - 8th grade. Practice will start in late March with match play beginning in mid-April. The season will conclude in mid-June. HALO teams will participate in the Oregon Youth Lacrosse League which includes Beaverton Youth Lacrosse (BYL). Practices will be held at Hillsboro school and park locations during the week. Matches will be played on Saturdays in Hillsboro and the west Portland area. Each team will have the opportunity to participate in one weekend tournament during the season. |

HALO Lacrosse Summer Program |
| Grades 1 - 6 |
| HALO (Hillsboro Area Lacrosse Organization) is excited to offer this 6-week summer program for kids to learn the fundamentals of lacrosse. Camp director, Peter Morgan, a National Lacrosse League All-Star and former player for the Portland Lumberjax invites children in grades 1 to 6 to spend the summer developing lacrosse skills and techniques. His experienced and energetic coaching staff will provide focused, comprehensive training essential for improvement, with an emphasis on having fun. Suitable for all skill levels, this 6 week camp is split in to 2 days of practice (Tuesday, Wednesday) and 1 day of scrimmages (Thursdays). Helmets and gloves are mandatory and will be available to borrow if needed. Bring your own if you have them. |

Lacrosse Camps |
| 7 - 14 years old |
| Learn the fundamentals of lacrosse including stick skills (passing, catching, cradling, scooping), field positions, and rules of the game. The older camp will also cover offensive and defensive concepts, including body position, face-offs and shooting. Bring a water bottle. All equipment is provided. Note that boys and girls are in different camps. |
