| * Cardio Jam: Participants need wristbands to participate in these classes. Wristbands are available at the front desk 45 minutes prior to class. Please note, only 40 people will be allowed to participate in each class for safety and enjoyment reasons. |

Classes may be canceled if less than 3 participants are present 10 minutes after starting time. Class instructors are subject to change. |
Group Fitness Class Descriptions |
Boot Camp: The ultimate circuit workout combining intervals of cardio drills and muscle conditioning. You will be training with a variety of equipment and exercise techniques that will give you a total body workout. |
Cardio Circuit: Strengthen your heart and body in this intermediate low impact aerobic class. The easy to follow class format utilizes light weights, tubing with handles and other tools to promote cardio health, increase muscle strength and strengthen your core muscles. |
Cardio Jam: Get your body moving to the beat with this high energy, calorie burning dance class. You will be sure to get a great workout while moving to some great music. You will leave this class revved up and ready to go!! All levels are welcomed. |
Fitness Challenge: This 12 week class is designed for those who are participating in the City of Hillsboro Fitness Challenge, however anyone and everyone is encouraged to join. Get the motivation and support you need to reach your fitness goal through this cardio and weight training workout with circuits and intervals. This class is geared to all levels of fitness.. |
Indoor Cycling: This cycling class is geared to both novice and expert exercisers. Experience a fantastic heart pumping workout including climbing, sprinting, and training to incredible music while riding a stationary bike. You must reserve a bike when the room opens. |
Lunch Time Crunch: Ready to kick start your metabolism during that lunch time slump?? Well this is the class for you!! Rotate through a series of cardio and strength intervals to sculpt your body and burn fat |
Pilates Strength: This class combines both yoga poses and Pilates exercises to tone and strengthen the body, while at the same time increasing flexibility. We will mainly focus on the core, which leads to stronger, healthier backs and stomachs. Leave the class feeling a sense of balance and tranquility. |
Piloga: This class incorporates basic stretching and strenghthening exercises of Yoga combined with Polates mat exercises. |
SilverSneakers®- Muscular Strength & Range of Movement (MSROM) : Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support. The Overflow Trial Class is based on attendance and community needs. This class may be eliminated in the future if it is no longer needed. |
Silver&Fit® Level 2 Experience: This level is for moderately active older adults who exercise in some way one to two days per week. The class is designed to increase the participant's flexibility, joint stability, dynamic balance, coordination, agility, reaction time, muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance. The Overflow Trial Class is based on attendance and community needs. This class may be eliminated in the future if it is no longer needed. |
Silver and Strong: Designed to meet the needs of the independent older adult. Strength, endurance, mobility and flexibility are components of the workout. Chairs are available for support. |
Strength and Core Conditioning: Get everything you want our of a fitness class! Enjoy a combination class that alternates strength training exercises with cardio to sculpt every major muscle group, ending with intense core conditionaing to tone your abs and back. |
Tai Chi Fusion: This class combines the movements of Tai Chi, yoga, balancing and breathing exercises. Enjoy this one hour class for a full body meditative, calmingand relaxing class while gaining flexibility. |
Total Body Conditioning: Maximize your workout! Complete head to toe workout with cardio, resistance training, and abs. Instructor will use a variety of tools such as weights, step, floor, and bands. |
Turbo Kick™: Burn calories and blast fat! Turbo Kick® mixes kickboxing and simple dance moves with music that makes you want to move it! You’ll love having fun and losing weight. It won’t even seem like you’re working out. |
willPower & grace™: willpower & grace™ is a sweaty, dynamic fusion of the fitness industry’s most popular group exercise programs. This is an easy-to-follow, linear, strong and focused program for students of all levels. Through cardiovascular barefoot training we develop ankle, knee and hip stabilization to facilitate good movement and prevent injury. |
Yoga - Vinyasa Flow: A dynamic style of yoga which links breathe and continual movement through a heat building sequence of postures. These practices combine a series of flowing postures with rhythmic breathing for an intense, transformational body-mind workout. |
Yoga – Gentle Flow: Open to all levels of practice and abilities, a soothing gentle class focuses on an exploration of basic yoga poses and how to connect them through attention to breathing, alignment and mindfulness. Therapeutic in nature, you will learn techniques to help you gain flexibility, while immersing yourself in a relaxing class that moves at a perfectly slower pace – allowing ample time to enjoy each pose. |
