Registration Information

Summer registration is currently open. Register online, by phone, mail or walk in to any of our locations. Registration for Sizzling Summer Day Camp may only be done by phone or in person. |

First Time Registration |

If you have never registered for one of our programs, your account must be set up by our staff. You may contact us by phone at 503-681-5397 or come into any of our facilities during business hours to obtain your Account I.D. and PIN. |

RecXpress Online Registration |

Register online by browsing the any copy of the Activities Guides above and clicking on the item of interest or by clicking on the RecXpress button to the left. If you have ever registered for a program with the Hillsboro Parks and Recreation Department, you already have an account with us, and will need your account I.D. and PIN to register. If you have never registered for one of our programs, your account must be set up by our staff. Using our online registration program, you may view your account, browse our wide array of programs and classes, and register 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Payment method is by Visa, Mastercard or Discover. |

Mail-in Registration |

Mail-in registration must be received at least seven working days prior to the first day of class. Please confirm registration by phone prior to the start of the class by calling 503-615-6120. Mail registration form to Parks and Recreation, 4400 NW 229th Avenue, Hillsboro, OR 97124. Please do not send cash in the mail. Make checks payable to: City of Hillsboro. You will only be notified by phone if a class is full or canceled. Fees for programs must be paid at the time of registration. Phone-in registration for recreation classes is taken weekdays from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Register by calling 503-681-5397. If all lines are busy, please defer your call to a later time if possible. Payment method is by Visa or Mastercard. Have all registration information ready when you call. Register for your immediate family ONLY. One family per phone call. |

Fees/Cancellation/Refund Policy |

All fees will be collected during registration. Cash, check and Visa/Master Card/Discover are accepted. Resident is defined as an individual living within the city limits of Hillsboro. All classes have a minimum enrollment and may be canceled as early as 10 days before the class starts if the minimum enrollment is not met. Full refunds or credits will be given when a class cancels or is postponed. When a recreation class refund is requested by the participant, the refund will be prorated from the date of the request; a service charge of $5.00 will apply. Please allow up to 4 weeks to receive the refund. |

Financial Assistance |

|
Financial aid can be requested for recreation and aquatic center programs. (No team fees or rentals.) One request per season (three-month period) per person will be granted. The maximum amount of assistance is 75% of the cost of the activity. Please allow two weeks for processing. Persons requesting financial aid must complete this form English/Español and return along with the registration form to the Hillsboro Parks and Recreation Department (4400 NW 229th Ave, Hillsboro, OR 97124). |

Waiting Lists |
| |

If your desired class is filled, you will be notified and placed on a waiting list. If openings become available, we will go to the waiting list to fill the class. |

Inclement Weather |

Call the Tyson Recreation Center at 503-615-6552, the Parks and Recreation office at 503-681-6120, or the Cultural Arts Center at 503-615-3485 for program/activity cancellations due to weather. |

Photos of Participants
|

|
On occasion, Parks & Recreation staff may take photos of participants in our programs, classes and events. Please be aware that these photos are for Parks and Recreation Department use only and may be used in promotional materials. If you have any concerns regarding this, please notify your instructor at the beginning of your class.

It is important for us to know if we are meeting your expectations. Your evaluation of the program will assist us in maintaining a high quality of programming.
