CITY OF HILLSBORO EMPLOYMENT APPLICATION PROCESS
The City of Hillsboro accepts applications for open positions
only. The City has adopted a policy which requires the return
of all unsolicited resumes and written correspondence. Therefore,
any unsolicited applications or resumes will be returned to
the address listed on the application.

Human Resources Department, 150 E Main St. Floor 2,
Hillsboro, OR 97123. Office hours are Monday through Friday
between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Completed Applications:
Completed applications must be returned by mail, fax or in person. E-mailed applications are not accepted.
Completed application forms must be received by our Human Resources
before 5:00 p.m. of the deadline date listed or they will not be considered.

Applications received
after the filing deadline, by email, or without supplemental
responses will not be considered. Resumes will not substitute
for responses to the supplemental questionnaire.
Applications may be faxed to (503) 615-3459 to meet the
application deadline; however, the original application must
be mailed.
General employees who can demonstrate the ability to speak both Spanish and English, or any language spoken by over ten percent (10%) of City residents as documented by the most recent U.S. Census, at a proficiency level determined by a fluency test administered by the City, will receive a monthly premium of three percent (3%) of their regular base pay. Hillsboro Police union members will receive five percent (5%) of their base pay per the collective bargaining agreement.
