Welcome to Hillsboro Maps!
The City of Hillsboro is providing Hillsboro Maps as a new and added way to obtain and access public data on parcels within the city limits.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide this public data through a user-friendly interface. Not to replace our one-on-one customer service provided over the telephone or over the counter, this is just one more way to access public data.

Click on the record of interest to display the available information.
Additional Tips:
The address suffix (like Street or Avenue) must be abbreviated (like “ST” or “AVE”).

directional must be abbreviated (like “NW”, “E”, “SW”)
The address search
will not accept periods (.) or commas (,)

SPECIAL NOTE: Hillsboro Maps data includes parcels within the city limits of Hillsboro. Searches for parcels outside of the city limits will produce zero results. Please note that there are parcels under Washington County’s jurisdiction, which are surrounded by parcels in Hillsboro’s jurisdiction. We refer to these parcels as “County Islands.” County Islands must be annexed into the city limits to allow new development of such parcel. Please contact the Planning Department at (503) 681-6153 for more information.
Q: What if the parcel I’m searching for doesn’t come up on Hillsboro Maps, but I think it’s within city limits?
A: The parcel you are searching for may be under Washington County’s jurisdiction in what we call a “County Island”. A County Island is surrounded by parcels in Hillsboro’s jurisdiction and is within Hillsboro’s overall city boundary. The Hillsboro Maps database will only provide data on parcels within Hillsboro’s jurisdiction. A County Island must be annexed into city limits prior to any new development. If the parcel is not a County Island, it could be that the parcel is entirely outside of Hillsboro’s jurisdiction. There are parcels in unincorporated Washington County which may have a Hillsboro mailing address. Conversely, there are some parcels which have a Beaverton mailing address, that are within Hillsboro’s jurisdiction. This is due to post office boundaries differing from city boundaries. To confirm the jurisdiction of a parcel, this information is listed on Washington County’s InterMap site: InterMap.
Q: What if I’m not able to find the data I require on Hillsboro Maps?
A: Call the Hillsboro Planning Department at (503) 681-6153 for land use data. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding holidays. A Planning staff person will be happy to assist you. If calling after hours, please leave a voice mail message and someone will return your call on the next business day.
Q: What does it mean if a parcel is zoned with a Planned Unit Development (PUD) overlay?
A: A parcel with a PUD overlay (ie; PUD A-1) was developed under the criteria of Section 127 of the Hillsboro Zoning Ordinance where exceptions from the underlying zoning standards (ie; A-1) may have been granted. The approved PUD overlay then supersedes the standards of the underlying zoning. Lots within a Planned Unit Development are legal as platted and there is no minimum lot size standard. For additional information, contact the Planning Department (503) 681-6153.
Q: What if a parcel is designated as a Cultural Resource?
A: Parcels identified as a Cultural Resource in listed on the City of Hillsboro Cultural Resource Inventory due to its historical significance. Special development regulations are placed on inventoried parcels and/or structures. Please consult with the Planning Department for additional information at (503) 681-6153.
Q: What if a parcel is located within the Significant Natural Resource Overlay district?
A: Parcels identified to be within the Significant Natural Resource Overlay district have been listed on the City’s Goal 5 inventory. Special development regulations are placed on such parcels. The boundaries of these resources are not accurate relative to tax lot lines and other features. A delineation of the significant natural resource boundary should be conducted on any parcel identified with Goal 5 resources prior to any application for land use development. Please consult with the Planning Department for additional information at (503) 681-6153.
Q: How do I find out who the parcel owner is for a specific parcel?
A: Ownership information may be obtained by contacted the Washington County Assessment & Taxation department at (503) 846-8741.
Q: Where can I obtain copies of land use applications for development of a parcel in city limits?
A: Land use applications are available on the City’s web site: http://www.ci.hillsboro.or.us/Planning_Department/LandUseApplicationFee/ or by visiting the Hillsboro Civic Center, Planning Department, on the fourth floor, 150 E. Main Street, Hillsboro, Oregon, 97123. Or, call (503) 681-6153.
