Howie's Fire Safety Checklist

Graphic of Howie

By taking the time to do a Fire Safety Inspection

and having a grown-up

help you fix any problems,

you’ll reduce your family’s risk of being hurt in a home fire.

How to Use Howie’s Checklist:

Take about 20 minutes to inspect your home.

Check off your answer to each question and total your points at the end of each section.

When you’re done, add up all your points to get your GRAND TOTAL.

Howie has a Safety Rating for you and steps to take to improve those areas in your home that need it.

REMEMBER: If you have trouble answering any questions, ask a grown-up to help. So, grab a pencil and let’s get started!
