Visions for the Downtown Community

The visions for the downtown community are based on the work conducted by the citizens of Hillsboro in creating and maintaining the Hillsboro 2020 Vision and Action Plan. During the DFP process, extensive outreach provided opportunities for residents, property owners, and local business people to build upon the foundation of the Hillsboro 2020 Vision and to create an overarching vision for downtown Hillsboro, as well as specific visions for each of the four subareas. The four subareas in the study area are the downtown core, the northern neighborhoods, the southwest neighborhoods, and the southeast neighborhoods.
