General Description

The Board shall conduct hearings and make determination on application for conditional uses, modifications of nonconforming uses, variances, changes to the zoning map (zone changes) and such other applications as the council or planning commission shall from time to time delegate according to set procedures.

Qualifications

• The Board consists of nine members – three members shall be graduates of a law school accredited by the State of Oregon Supreme Court (one of these three shall serve as Hearings Board Chair, with the other two as alternate Chairs); the other six members will be chosen at large

Length of Term

3 years (expires December 31st)

Duties

1. Conduct hearings and make determinations on applications for conditional uses, modifications of nonconforming uses, variances, changes to the zoning map (zone changes) and other applications as the council/planning commission shall delegate
