The Glenn and Viola Walters Cultural Arts Center
The Glenn & Viola Walters Cultural Arts Center will celebrate its 10th anniversary on March 16th, 2014. Located at the corner of SE 5th Avenue and Main Street in Hillsboro, this ground-breaking facility provides expanded opportunities for youth and adult art education, increased access to local, regional and national artists, and gorgeous meeting, banquet, and reception spaces.
The Glenn & Viola Walters Cultural Arts Center houses a performance/event space, classrooms, gallery, kitchen, box office and beautiful outdoor grounds, including two terraces. The Center is a showplace for the arts as well as for your event!
The facility can be reserved in whole or in part to accommodate your individual event needs. The main entry opens onto the spacious lobby, which gives way to the kitchen and event space. The classrooms can be found on the lower level of the facility.
The event hall can be arranged for the most intimate banquet or a traditional auditorium presentation. The hall accommodates up to 200 seats in auditorium style and 150 in banquet style seating. Several floor plans are available, and each can be tailored to your event.

Hourly Rental Rates do not include staffing, labor and other equipment fees. There may be insurance requirements for the use of the Cultural Arts Center. Please refer to the Walters Cultural Arts Center Guidelines and Alcohol Usage Policy for additional rental information.
The Walters Cultural Arts Center has a full kitchen, complete with ice machine and a commercial-size refrigerator The kitchen was designed with catering in mind, yet the Arts Center allows groups to choose potluck style set up for casual gatherings.
The art studios can be used for small meetings or as break-out rooms from a larger gathering in the event space.
The Cultural Arts Center is closed on Sundays and is not available for rentals.
