Pioneer Cemetery Clean-up Event

25 volunteers are needed to helpspruce up the oldest cemetery in Washington County! Come help out with the following projects:
- Cleaning headstones
- Pulling weeds
- Picking up litter
Volunteer check-in: At volunteer tool trailer located inside of the cemetery entrance. Tools, gloves, and supplies provided! (Rain or Shine) |
Dazzling Daffodil Planting Project

Hillsboro Parks & Recreation is joining with the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce Beautification Committee & ODOT for the 5th Annual Daffodil Project! Over 40,000 bulbs have been planted along Sunset Highway - and we want to continue to beautify entrances to Hillsboro!
40 volunteers are needed to plant over 25,000 more daffodil bulbs along the Sunset Highway at the Hillsboro Stadium and Cornelius Pass/Hwy 26 interchange.
Volunteer check-in: The volunteer tool trailer located in the north stadium parking lot near the Sunset Highway and Cornelius Pass interchange. Tools and gloves will be provided.

Details:
10 Volunteers needed to count the number of trail users at various park locations and survey trail users. This is a national study and all data collected will be used to track daily patterns and types of uses at selected sites to help guide future trail improvements. Outdoor Projects
Looking for a group project outdoors? We can accommodate all ages and group sizes with projects out in the parks. Help pick-up litter, clean up landscape beds, work on trails, or remove invasive plants from natural areas. We provide the tools and supplies for all projects! |
Volunteer Requirements
Volunteers need to be 15 years of age or older. Some positions may require an application, background check, and an interview process. |
