General Description |
The Planning Commission shall conduct hearings and make determination on applications for subdivisions, planned unit developments, concept development plans, detailed development plans, floodplain alterations, cultural resource alterations, significant resource permits, and such other applications as the council shall from time to time delegate according to set procedures. |

Qualifications |
- Reside within the corporate limits of the city of Hillsboro
|
- Available to attend regularly scheduled meetings
|
- No more than two voting members shall be engaged in the buying, selling or developing of real estate for profit
|
- No more than two voting members shall be engaged in the same kind of business, trade or profession
|
|
Length of Term |
4 years (expires January 1st) |

Duties |
1. Attend regularly scheduled meetings |
2. Review materials (applications and staff reports) provided prior to meetings |
3. Make decisions based on compliance with Zoning Ordinance, Comprehensive Plan and other adopted City codes |
4. Occasionally attend especially scheduled work sessions on related and current land use issues |
