Bag&Baggage Productions received funds for the design & production of its 2011-2012 Season Brochure.

 

Girl Scouts of Oregon & Southwest Washington

The Girl Scouts of Oregon & Southwest Washington received a grant in support of an exhibition and community lecture series in connection with the Chiapas Photography Project.

 

Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce – Latino Cultural Festival

The Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce received funds in support of arts and culture programming at the annual Latino Cultural Festival.

 

Hillsboro Community Arts

Hillsboro Community Arts received a grant for the summer concert series, Showtime at Shute.

Hillsboro Community Youth Choir

The Hillsboro Community Youth Choir received funds in support of the creation and production of a performance detailing the history of Hillsboro, in collaboration with the Hillsboro Historical Society.

 

Hillsboro Farmers' Market

The Hillsboro Farmers' Market received a grant for the marketing and promotion of free musical performances at the Saturday Farmer’s Market.

 

L.E.S.T.A.: Learn English/Spanish Through the Arts

Learn English/Spanish Through the Arts (L.E.S.T.A.) received funds in support of its Bilingual Musical Theatre summer camp program.

 

Masque Alfresco

Masque Alfresco received a grant to support for free outdoor performances of Moliere’s The Miser in Bagley Park in downtown Hillsboro.

Miller Education Center

The Miller Education Center received grant funds in support of its “Art From the Heart” program, that combines arts education with the study of other curricula.

Oregon Mandolin Orchestra

The Oregon Mandolin Orchestra received a grant for the development of the organization’s website to increase information and usability for the public and members.

 

Portland Chamber Orchestra

The Portland Chamber Orchestra received funds in support of its 2011-2012 concert series at the Venetian Theatre in downtown Hillsboro.

 

Sequoia Gallery + Studios

Sequoia Gallery + Studios received a grant for the design and production of postcards promoting monthly art exhibits.

 

Westside Quilters Guild

The Westside Quilters Guild received funds in support of its quilting arts exhibit, “West Along the Tualatin,” developed in partnership with the Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve and the Tualatin River Keepers.

 

2010-2011

Bag&Baggage Productions

Bag&Baggage, Hillsboro’s resident professional theatre company, received funds to create and print marketing materials to promote their 2010-2011 season.

 

Bienestar

Bienestar, a nonprofit organization providing affordable housing and resident services to low-income families in Washington County, received a grant to produce handmade tile mural with local residents, children and adults, served by their organization.

 

Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce – Latino Cultural Festival

The Greater Hillsboro Area Chamber of Commerce received funds to expand its annual Latino Cultural Festival, adding an exhibit of local Latino artists and additional musical performances to its program.

 

Hillsboro Community Youth Choir

The Hillsboro Community Youth Choir received a grant to provide free choral performances to school-age youths and their parents at the Venetian Theatre in downtown Hillsboro.

 

Hillsboro Downtown Business Association- Hillsboro Art Walk

The Hillsboro Downtown Business Association received funds to support its marketing efforts for the Hillsboro Art Walk program.

 

Hillsboro Symphony Orchestra

The Hillsboro Symphony Orchestra received a grant to support its marketing efforts to increase community awareness and to advertise upcoming performances.

Learn English/Spanish Through the Arts (L.E.S.T.A.) received funds to support its bilingual theater performances and to assist in summer theatre camp programs, including scholarships for low-income participants.

 

Library Foundation of Hillsboro

The Library Foundation of Hillsboro received a grant to upgrade its website and marketing materials for potential contributors and community members.

Bienestar, a nonprofit organization providing affordable housing and resident services to low-income families in Washington County, received funds to create mosaic concrete benches with the children, parents, and volunteers from the Hillsboro communities served by the organization.

Hillsboro Artists' Regional Theatre

H.A.R.T., Hillsboro’s community theatre, received a grant to support its marketing efforts, including the continued development of its website and the production of promotional materials.

The Hillsboro Downtown Business Association received a grant to produce promotional materials, including banners, flags, walking guides, and posters for the First Tuesday Hillsboro Art Walk program.
